Update · Oct 27, 2026

Haiti lifted its orange and yellow weather alerts at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and the hydro-meteorological unit said that does not mean the risk is over: showers were still possible into Wednesday, Oct. 28, and the civil protection agency still counts at least four dead, two fishermen missing and 3,209 families affected. If your family is in the Sud, the Nippes or the Grand’Anse, call them, and do not let anyone move back into a damaged house on the strength of a lifted warning. TPS for Haiti and Syria is unchanged — terminated since July 27 — and losing it is still not a deportation order. Always confirm on the official USCIS page, never social media. See what changed →

Get your family ready. It takes one afternoon.

Getting ready is not giving up — it is how you keep your family together. TPS for Haiti and Syria was terminated, effective July 27, 2026, and TPS work permits expired the same day. Losing TPS is not a deportation order: removal still takes a legal process in which you have rights. These tools put what you already know onto one page you can print, so the people you trust can act if you cannot.
